Whenever I hear, "There's nothing to do in Jacksonville," I think, "That person probably doesn't dance." Because I can dance, I'm never bored. My life has the feeling of a Hollywood movie because of my ability to dance. Parties, clubs, beach festivals, cruises, weddings, even listening to music in my house, dancing makes EVERYTHING more fun.
Now when I say dancing, I don’t mean choreographed, scripted dancing. No, I mean REAL dancing, that you can do to any music, anywhere. You’ll know what you're doing, but you never know what’s going to happen next!
I love being able to go out, see someone I’ve never met before, take them out on to the floor, and rock their world. I want everybody to be able to do that, and to experience that.
You don’t need a partner, either. Everyone learns the same steps, but dances the way THEY want to dance. You’ll have your own style and ATTITUDE. Maybe James Bond, maybe Vin Diesel. Marilyn Monroe, or Courtney Love? Will your dancing be fun and flirty or close and romantic? Sexy and steamy or graceful and elegant? It’s up to you!
Best of all, you’ll meet new people and make friendships that will last a lifetime! Now THAT’S really exciting! The people you meet in class will come out with you on our Nights Out! And the one's who weren't in class you'll STILL meet at our Parties!
Okay, so how do you make this happen? Easy. Click on "Calendar." Find the closest day marked "Beginners" and come to one of those classes (doesn't matter which class, just pick the most convenient time.) You don't need a partner, but if you like you can bring your friends. If you like the class, and you decide you want to join us, then you buy a membership.
How much is a membership? $20 a YEAR! With a membership the class price drops to $5 each (instead of $10,) and you can take as many or as few as you like. You get a free private lesson (worth $29.) You get a very cool CLASS CHART to keep track of your dancing. You get a free invitation to one of our monthly Pizza Parties! And a membership badge, that serves as a nametag so you can remember each other. What more could you want?
