Learning to dance is simple - No partner needed.

Waltz

The classic Waltz, known as the mother of all dances - once banned because of the closeness that the dancers held each other, and the "undulating" motion of their bodies, the Waltz is considered tame by today's standards.

Still it is deeply embedded in our culture. Often called "Prince Charming" dance, you see it in Disney movies where the handsome hero sweeps his girl off her feet, and dances her away into the Happily Ever After.

Danced often at formal events, country-western bars, and ballroom dance clubs, the Waltz is the only dance you can do to waltz music, which is written in 3/4 time. So you either dance Waltz or sit out.

Come in Mondays at 6pm to learn this beautiful ballroom dance, then practice it on Fridays at our Friday Night Ballroom Dance party.
